Through the platform, she shares daily content related to living a life with more joy, freedom, and health - a life where we manage to strike a balance between being professionally ambitious and taking care of ourselves.

You can read more about her personal motivation for starting Mind Care Collective in this article.

After seven years at Implement Consulting Group, Lea founded the mental health platform Mind Care Collective, driven by her long-standing interest in psychology, behavior, and wellbeing, as well as her personal experience of living life in the fast lane. Today, Lea makes a living by sharing insights and tools on how we can succeed in performing - while also taking care of ourselves.

Lea shares her knowledge about creating a sustainable (work) life through:

  • Talks and workshops in companies such as EY, Danske Bank, Coloplast, Innargi, Coca-Cola, The Tech Collective, and Frederiksberg Centret

  • Her podcast, Vores Mentale Sundhed, with over 1,000,000 plays

  • Her Instagram profile, @mindcarecollective, with 18,000+ followers

  • Her online program, Mind Care Academy

  • Her upcoming book, “7 Things to Remember Before You Forget Yourself”, to be published in January 2026 by Politikens Forlag

  • The Corporate Wellbeing Day conference, which she hosts annually at The Black Diamond (Den Sorte Diamant)

Lea supports individuals, employees, and leaders in understanding why the modern human (and brain) is challenged by speed, technology, and the structures of today’s society - and provides practical tools for how to achieve better balance and greater wellbeing while leading an ambitious (career) life.

Talks & Workshops

The Sustainable (Work) Life

My talks and workshops are grounded in formal education within mental health, wellbeing, and happiness, as well as 100+ expert interviews - combined with my personal experience from high-performance work environments.

In these sessions, I share a wide range of knowledge and tools related to how we can succeed in performing while also taking care of ourselves. It’s about how to avoid stress, while strengthening our performance and boosting our overall wellbeing.

The topics below are delivered in a professional and inspiring way, based on science, studies, and real-life examples:

  • Understanding our (brain’s) fundamental biological mechanisms and needs - and why these are challenged by modern life

  • Uncovering the overlooked potential of the breath, and learning how to breathe in a healthier way

  • Demystifying meditation - and realizing that everyone can benefit from simple meditation techniques

  • Creating the best conditions for recovery - both during the day (breaks) and at night (sleep)

  • Understanding why our disconnection from nature is problematic - and how to reconnect with it

  • Reducing mental chatter to create more inner calm

  • Harnessing the power of consciousness and thoughts to our advantage

  • Cultivating a mindset of gratitude and positivity

  • Defining your own core life values and personal definition of success - so the pursuit of success doesn’t come at the expense of wellbeing

  • Building mentally healthy habits that last

  • Why companies that foster psychological safety and have leaders who understand these principles, succeed in creating more wellbeing and less stress

  • My personal journey - from management consultant to founder of Mind Care Collective

Each talk or workshop typically includes a curated selection of the above themes, and can be tailored to suit your specific context and audience.

"Mental health is a topic we want to support even more for our employees, and through Lea’s talk on mental wellbeing and ‘healthy success’, we gained new perspectives and tools to actively continue working on it - both individually and as a team.

Given Lea’s background as a management consultant, she had a strong understanding of the audience, and together we tailored a presentation that met our specific needs with a well-balanced mix of theory and practice. During the session, Lea came across as both professional and relatable, and she did a great job engaging the whole group of around 30 people.

As part of the presentation, she shared five “life hacks” that participants could (start to) implement in their everyday lives - many of which I know have been embraced afterwards. Our work with mental health certainly doesn’t stop here, but Lea’s talk was a great contribution to how we can move forward.

"Thank you so much for joining our team event, where my 200 ambitious colleagues and I listened intently to your valuable advice on how to find the balance between being professionally ambitious and taking care of ourselves at the same time. It has given us a shared reference point for our continued work with mental health at EY."

(Lars Rhod Søndergaard, Partner & Head of Financial Services, EY)

"Lea’s mission - to empower us to be professionally ambitious while also taking care of ourselves - could not be more relevant for our members. This was clearly reflected in the fact that her talk was one of the most popular of the year, with a completely packed room. The presentation was a rewarding and insightful mix of personal experiences, theory, an overview of key societal trends affecting our mental health, and, not least, concrete tools and exercises that the audience could take home with them. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Lea again in the future."

(Krista Bauer, Partner & Head of Communication, Inspired Beyond Babies)

"Lea is a true treasure trove of warmth and positive energy. Her knowledge of mental health and how to prevent stress, combined with strong professional expertise, is delivered in an inspiring, calm, and tangible way - enriched with examples from her own life.

As a participant in her workshop, you feel truly involved - through breathing exercises and meditation tried out in real time which makes the experience deeply engaging. You leave with concrete life hacks and tools to make small, manageable changes in a busy everyday life and with a sense of gratitude for having met this passionate soul."
